Emmanuelle holds a bachelor degree in fine arts (dance). She received her training in France (Centre chorégraphique Vendetta Mathea, Epsedanse), the United States (Towson University) and Canada (UQÀM). She has worked with artists such as Bruno Guilloré (Hofesh Shechter Company), Rudy Bryans (Opéra de Marseille), Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell (Alvin Ailey School of Dance), Tom Weinberger (Batsheva Dance Company) and Victor Quijada (RUBBERBANDance).

Emmanuelle specializes in contemporary and urban dance; she has joined forces with Eva Kolarova, Kim San Chau, Bettina Hoffman, Johanne Gour, Sebastien Cliche and Les Dix Commandments. She is part of the P7:1sma Dance Company during the 2017–2018 season. This Singaporean troupe fusions traditional Malay dance with contemporary dance.

In addition to working with the P7: 1sma Dance Company, Emmanuelle Martin collaborates with the Miroir Miroir, Trip the Light Fantastic, Maya Dance Theatre and Van Grimde Corps Secrets companies. She has created choreographies for various projects, including Les Productions Multisens and Ballet Ouest, and has performed her own solo piece Et … what next, combining video and photography with dance.
