Having originally trained as a gymnast, Gaëlle Mong soon turned to dance and in particular classic ballet, contemporary dance, jazz and hip-hop. In 2019 she completed the dance programme at York University in Toronto.

Eager to develop her abilities as a performer, Gaëlle then continued her training by participating in dance workshops with companies such as RUBBERBANDance and Trip The Light Fantastic. At the same time, she participated in the Festival Quartiers Danses in 2019 with Trip The Light Fantastic in their piece entitled The Smile Club. Also interested in dance-related videography, she appeared in the concept video Displaced (2020), directed by Bettina Hoffman. Gaëlle joined Bouge de Là in 2021 as part of Kaleidoscope.
