Émilie Gratton

Julie Tymchuk

A graduate of the École Supérieure de Ballet Contemporain and the Jeune Ballet du Québec in 2005, that same year saw Émilie Gratton become a member of the Sursaut Dance Company before joining forces with Mandala Sitù, whom she would dance with for the next 8 years.

In 2007 she co-founded Évolucidanse, a dance company where until 2014 she performed a number of choreographic works by Geneviève Bolla. Since then she has worked with choreographers Julie Duguay, Dave St-Pierre and Audrey Rochette.

In the last few years, Émilie has been devoting the majority of her time to artistic works with more of a social agenda. Since 2018 she has been a performer and workshop leader for the dance company La Marche du Crabe, as well as taking part in shows performed in front of retirement homes with Je suis Julio and Nouveau Mouvement in the summer of 2020. She is currently working on HLM with Nouveau Mouvement, a project aimed at young people and residents of social housing.
