Originally from Montreal’s South Shore, Alex Turcotte began his artistic journey with his high school’s music program—winning several prizes as a soloist and granting him the opportunity to play clarinet in New York City. To pursue his dream of becoming a professional dancer, he then earned a diploma in dance from the Cégep de Drummondville. In 2021, he moved to Montreal/Tiohtià:ke to further his training at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal and to take waacking classes with Axelle Munezero. After graduating in spring 2024, he joined the Bouge de là team for our tenth and most recent creation, Un nuage dans mon ventre.
